Learning Labs Class III to XII
A laboratory are relevant and essential part so far as the learning of different subjects is concerned.
The Wisdom Global School hosts is a "centre for excellence" floor where different Labs are designed to offer better opportunities for learning and where students can perform research works, experiments and even learn new things with the help of internet facility. This helps students to understand the various concepts in a better way by conducting their own experiments. It gives students first-hand experience of practical implication of academic concepts. A laboratory is not a contest whose object is to get the “right answer”, but the purpose is to learn how to gain knowledge, how to observe and to learn the meaning of what happens.
Mathematics Lab
Mathematics laboratory is a place to enjoy mathematics through informal exploration. It is a space to explore and design new mathematical activities. So, the mathematics lab should not be used to assess students’ knowledge of mathematics. Often mathematics lab takes students knowledge beyond the curriculum. The mathematics lab provides an opportunity for the students to discover mathematics through doing. Many of the activities present a problem or a challenge, with the possibility of generating further challenges and problems. The activities help students to visualize, manipulate and reason. They provide opportunity to make conjectures and test them, and to generalize observed patterns. It gives the opportunity to all the students to expand their ideas using visualization of the concepts.
Social Studies Lab
Social studies lab of The Wisdom Global School acts as an activity room for pupil-teachers as it combines academic experience with worldly knowledge, making learning effective, lively and fun. The Social Studies Lab is well furnished with a seating capacity of 30-35 students focusing on spatial skills. It includes: Globes, Topographical Maps, Geographical and political charts, 2D and 3D models and models made by students during exhibitions.
Integrated Science Lab
Science lab equipments allows students to interact directly with the data gathered. At TWGS, the students get a first-hand learning experience by performing various experiments on their own. Students are made to use the models and understand different scientific theories and concepts. TWGS combines classroom teaching with laboratory experiments to ensure that our students grasp each and every concept thoroughly and encourage deep understanding in children.
Fine Arts Lab
Fine Arts as a subject in The Wisdom Global School curriculum helps students to learn different forms of Prehistoric paintings. Portable paintings on wood panels or canvas have been painted by the students in the school art room. Students have been taught tempera and oil painting. Common art instruments include graphite pencils, pen, and ink, inked brushes, wax color pencils, crayons, and paints.
Computer Lab
The computer lab of TWGS serves as the center for teaching computers, research, or for creating technology-based projects. It is also used for teacher in-service training programs where teachers are instructed on various aspects of using computers in educational settings. The computer lab at TWGS features 36 personal- computing workstations with N-Computing devices. A number of specialty software packages such as MS Office 2016, Tux Paint, Paint 3 D, and scratch software are available.
Craft Lab
Craft classes in the Craft Lab of The Wisdom Global School help students exercise their crafting skills. Not only coloring with crayons and making miniature statues from clay, they are engaged in multifold activities like folding paper to create fine origami and designing handmade greeting cards. These craft activities enhance the interest of the children and also exploit their artistic potential at the same time.
Biology Lab
For a better learning, biology labs play a very important role right from the elementary level in schools. Through biology labs, teachers can help students to experience the pleasure of discovering something and gain scientific working methods. They can widen their horizon by observing different specimens under microscope and retain their curiosity. Students of THE WISDOM GLOBAL SCHOOL are fortunate enough to have a complete access to its well equipped and updated biology laboratory with all major best quality equipment and regular visits to it, along with capable lab attendants and a proper learning environment. They can easily avail to these labs and learn practically which helps them to retain the contents and concepts.
English Language Lab
Good communication skills are indispensable for the success of students of all age groups. The English language, in particular, has become essential in our lives especially our students who aspire to advance their careers anywhere in the world. The language laboratory at TWGS is a very helpful place for practicing and assessing one's speech in the English language. TWGS provides technical tools for the students to learn the pronunciation of language in an easy way through interactive videos.
Physics Lab
More than a mere place in the back of the classroom, the laboratory is the place where physics students do physics. At TWGS, Physics laboratory ensures the students to practice the activities of scientists - asking questions, performing procedures, collecting data, analyzing data, answering questions, and thinking of new questions to explore. The lab is well equipped to satisfy curious minds of Scientists in making. Students are directed and encouraged to undertake all experiments themselves. Supervision is done by expert and skilled faculty and lab assistant. Pendulums, Spring weighing machines, Vernier Callipers, Screw Gauge and tongs can be seen in continuous use by the students at the physics lab.
Chemistry Lab
Popping sounds, coloured fumes and the regular pungent smell is the order of the day in our well equipped Chemistry Lab. TWGS provides latest facilities to students for qualitative as well as quantitative analysis according to the C.B.S.E. syllabus. The lab is quite spacious and equipped with sophisticated instruments like Digital Balance for weighing, centrifuge machine for salt analysis, etc. Students learn and absorb much more through pragmatic experiments under the supervision of well qualified and experienced lab attendants. The chemicals used are of analytical grade and glass apparatus used is of A grade.
